This quartz specimen from the Messina Mine features subtle blue ajoite inclusions along with traces of hematite and other unidentified minerals, creating a beautiful mix of color and texture within the crystal. The bottom of the crystal is self-healed, showing small, intricate growth patterns where the quartz continued to regenerate after a break during the growth process. Ajoite quartz from Messina is increasingly rare, making this a valuable addition for collectors.
