CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER, KIMBERLIN FROM HAWAII!
I have chosen to raffle off this GORGEOUS Greek Selenite slab. This greek selenite was harvested near The Temple of Poseidon many years ago . As far as I know, this mine is no longer producing or can’t be accessed to collect more, for obvious reasons.
This specimen has unique mineral inclusions all throughout with a beautiful chevron pattern created by the layers of selenite. According to a mineralogist, the mineral inclusions MAY include:

PYRITE: Tiny micro inclusions.

HEMATITE: Dusty red inclusions

LIMONITE or IRON OXIDES: The yellow bands
All proceeds from the raffle will go to two animal nonprofits. I’ve chosen CatCafe Lounge and Wags and Walks.
ABOUT CatCafe Lounge:
I chose the CatCafe Lounge because of their mission to reduce euthanizations by increasing adoptions while socializing cats. As someone who has fostered cats in the past, I recognize how important it is to socialize cats with people to give them a better chance at being adopted.
ABOUT Wags and Walks:
I chose Wags and Walks because of their dedication to reduce euthanizations and find loving homes for dogs of ALL breeds and sizes. I think it is important that they do not discriminate against certain dog breeds, as I believe all dogs should be treated with kindness and love despite the demonization of certain breeds. Their goal is to find an adopter whose home, family and lifestyle are a perfect fit for a particular dog.
